Biography
Nikki Sclair, of Bellmore, NY, graduated Magna Cum Laude from the Fashion Institute of Technology with a BFA in Fine Arts in 2006. She recieved a Masters Degree at Hofstra in the Comparative Arts & Culture Program, and has had experience at the Metropolitan Museum of Art, The Hispanic Society of America, and the Nassau County Museum of Art, involved in archiving, conservation, and education.
Her preferred mediums are paint, found object/mixed media sculpture, photography and photolithography. Her work has been displayed internationally at Greenpoint Gallery, Wabisabi Warehouse, Hockaday Museum of Art, the Leslie-Lohman Museum, Il Tempo La Storia, and more. She is currently working for a specialized art shipping company, and has been nominated twice as Best Emerging Artist at GLAAD's Annual Out Auction.
